Configured Pages Administration

An administrator can view configured pages in the Page Configurations page in Solution Manager.

A set of administrator actions are also provided:

  • Create a new custom page.
  • It can publish, unpublish and delete configurations and custom pages.
  • View details of configured elements of a Page Group and remove specific configuration elements.
  • Configurations and custom pages can be added to Application Configuration Packages. More information about import and export is found here.

Page Description

ColumnDescription
Client ModelThis is the client model file that has been configured, one model file can contain several pages/ elements. Configurations made to pages in a page group/ client model file are exported together. 
Model DescriptionClient model file description.
Projection NameThe Projection which the Page Group is based on.
ContextContext page configuration belongs to.
Page TypeIndicate whether the page is a custom page or a standard page.
StatusPublish state indicator.
Draft – All configured artifact is in draft state.
Partly – Some configured artifacts are published but drafts exist.
Published – All configured artifacts are published.
Empty - Custom client model without any page artifact.
Baseline StatusStates whether the configuration baseline is (Up-to-date) or possible outdated (Behind). Behind is when core client model changes are deployed as part of an application update or when updated global scoped configurations are published. When the client model artifact that was the baseline for the configuration has now changed (moved forward) the configuration is (behind). The behind status flag indicates that the configuration needs to be rebased to get up-to-date with deployed changes.
Application Configuration PackageIf the page layout is connected to an Application Configuration Package (ACP), the package name is mentioned here.

Show DetailsNavigate to Page Group Details page.
Open DesignerOpen the page designer with the selected item.
Publish/ UnpublishPublish/ Unpublish the Page Group.
Sometimes during publishing some drafts may be refused. When this happens, “Details.Validation Info” field will contain detailed information about the reason.
DeleteDelete draft configurations on standard client models and custom client models.
For custom client models, once all configurations (draft) are deleted the empty client model is also deleted if it is not connected to an ACP.
Add to Package/ Remove from PackageAdd or remove the Page Group configurations to/ from an ACP.

Page Group Details page

Page Group Details page is reached through the 'Show Details' button on the Page Configurations page. This will list the details of each configured individual element in the Client model.

ElementThe element in the page group that has been configured.
Element TypeThe element type of the configured element.
StatusPublish state indicator.
Draft – Configured artifact is in draft state.
Published – Configured artifacts is published.
Baseline StatusStates whether the artifact configuration baseline is (Up-to-date) or possible outdated (Behind). Validation InfoDetailed information about the reason to why an artifact was refused to be published. Sometimes during publishing some drafts may be refused. When this happens, this field will contain detailed information about the reason.
ContentThe client meta data of the element. The content can be large, a recommendation is to copy the content to an online JSON editor in order to view the information in a user friendly way. This field is hidden by default.

Create New Page dialog

Create New Page dialog is reached through the 'Create New Page' button on the Page Configurations page

ColumnDescription
Page NameName of the Page. Name should start with a capital letter.
Custom ProjectionThe Projection which the Page Group is based on. Only custom projections are listed here.

Navigator Designer should be used to add Custom Pages to the navigator
